Dynamos get a presence on the web

GIYANI – "Running a team that is campaigning in the Premier Soccer League without the necessary sponsorship is not just difficult, but also a costly exercise," the Managing Director of Dynamos Football Club, Mr Pat Malabela, told a gathering during the official launching ceremony of the club's website, hotline and magazine.

The ceremony was held at the Limpopo Lodge Hall in Giyani last Friday evening. Malabela stated that they are unable to buy quality players due to the fact that they do not have a sponsor. He appealed to the people to fill the stadium in all their home matches saying that that would help them achieve their desired goal of taking the league title to Giyani.

During the ceremony, the mayor of the Greater Giyani Municipality Rev S Ntindane said he appreciated the good work, which done by the management of Dynamos FC. He stated that the club plays a major role in as far as job creation is concerned.

He further stated that Giyani Stadium would have not been upgraded to its present standard had it not been for the promotion of Dynamos to the elite league. According to him the municipality will build a third pavilion on the western side of the stadium in order to increase its capacity.

Complimentary copies of the club's magazine, Ri khome were distributed to guests during the ceremony. The club's hotline is 0822310070 and is in operation for 24 hours. Any information relating to the club including the team's latest results can be obtained by dialling the hotline number.

During the ceremony, the club's Chief Executive Officer, Mr Bothwell Matewe, stated that the club's website would be active with effect from Monday, March 3. The ceremony was sponsored by several businesses including SA Bottling Company, Spar Supermarket Giyani, Shisa Nyama, Sasekani Clothing Manufacturing Company, Laduma Hardware and Limpopo Lodge.
