MAKHADO (LOUIS TRICHARDT) - The Zoutpansberger / Limpopo Mirror this week launched their exciting new life-skills booklet as an insert in the newspapers.
The life-skills booklet is aimed at primary school learners and will be distributed in the newspapers free of charge every week, starting from July 23 until November 19 this year.
Each week, a new theme will be discussed, for example time, water, or plants. Teachers may use these supplements in classrooms as a complementary aid. Each supplement is filled with important educational information, fun-to-do activities, a poster to place on classroom walls, information about careers, and a feature on various local schools to show the community what is happening in our region.
The educational supplements have been made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Solly’s Group of Companies. Without this support, the newspaper would not have been able to bring you this educational supplement, and we thank Mr Solly Noor for his support in this regard.
To further show the newspapers’ commitment to education, they have negotiated with secondary sponsors (Zoutpansberg Milling Company, Surat Stationers and VBS Mutual Bank), who are willing to supply 50 newspapers to each of the 28 primary schools in the region. The following schools will benefit from this project: Bele, Djunane, Elim, Hlalelani, Madombidzha, Magau, Maguada, Makwatambani, Mambedi, Masindi, Masungulo, Matshavhawe, Mutavhanani, Muthuhadini, Muzhedzi, Nkhensa, Nyatema, Petamukanda, Shihlobyeni, Shirley, T. Tshibvumo, Tshifire, Tshikwarani, Tshilwavhusiku, Tshimonela, Tshisaphungo and Valdesia.
