MUSINA – An incident where a 42-year-old woman was raped by her juvenile son, his juvenile friend and her 50-year-old brother-in-law, sent shock waves through the white community of Musina.

According to the victim, she and her husband, as well as her 15-year-old son, his 15-year-old friend and her brother-in-law were drinking heavily throughout the night at their home in Musina. Tuesday (14th) at about 01:00 her husband went to bed, after which she and the other males continued drinking. She stated that she couldn't remember when she passed out from the alcohol, but when she woke up at about 04:00, she found her son busy raping her.

According to the police in Musina, the woman was so devastated about what had happened, that she tried to commit suicide by drinking pills. Later the same day, information was also received that apart from her son, his friend as well as her brother-in-law had raped her while she was asleep.

All three suspects were arrested. By the time of going to press it was not sure whether the suspects had already appeared in court.
