TSHILAMBA – The community of Tshilamba at Mutale is still reeling from shock after unknown gunmen shot and killed a well-known local lawyer when he arrived at his home on January 12.

According to the police in the Vhembe area, the police are still searching for unknown people who shot and killed the deceased, Mr Robert Vhulahani (35), of Tshilamba. He was shot several times and was certified dead on arrival at the hospital.

A case of murder has been opened at the Mutale SAPS, said Capt Ailwei Mushavhanamadi of the Vhembe SAPS. While the motive for the killing is still unknown, Mushavhanamadi is pleading with members of the community to help the police with information that would lead to the lawyer’s assassins.
