Faith to fill Reuben's shoes

MAKHADO (LOUIS TRICHARDT) – The Makhado Municipality, at its ordinary meeting held on February 3, appointed Ms Faith Muthambi as Council’s new Municipal Manager.
The post of the Municipal Manager became vacant after the suspension and ultimate resignation of the former Municipal Manager, Mr Reuben Rambado, in July and October last year respectively.
Ms Muthambi has been the Director Municipal Secretariat since 2002 and possesses an extensive experience in matters of governance. She has already commenced with her new responsibilities as Municipal Manager. Her appointment is with effect from February 4.

Andries joined the Zoutpansberger and Limpopo Mirror in April 1993 as a darkroom assistant. Within a couple of months he moved over to the production side of the newspaper and eventually doubled as a reporter. In 1995 he left the newspaper group and travelled overseas for a couple of months. In 1996, Andries rejoined the Zoutpansberger as a reporter. In August 2002, he was appointed as News Editor of the Zoutpansberger, a position he holds until today.
