MUSINA – The station commander of the SAPS in Musina, Supt M G Nephawe, has been transferred to the Vhembe Area Office of the SAPS.
The Area Communications Officer of the SAPS, Capt Alwei Mushawhanamadi, confirmed this week that Supt Nephawe has been transferred to the Area Logistics Office. His replacement was due to arrive in Musina this week. According to Capt Mushawhanamadi, Supt Mathebula of the Mopane area will be the new station commander at Musina.
Supt Nephawe and his son were in the news recently when they appeared in separate court cases. The station commander appeared on a charge of housebreaking and theft, while his son appeared in connection with a charge of attempted murder. The son was to appear again this week, while the father was to appear before the court again on 18 February.
