MAKHADO – How many residents in the Vhembe district have ever watched Colbert Mukwevho and Vuyo Mokwena performing live on stage? If not, start to gear up for the Provincial Easter Arts Festival on March 24 at the Makhado Showgrounds.

The organisers, Tinkawu Theatre Laboratory, stated that local reggae stars Colbert Mukwevho, Khakhathi and sensational gospel artists, Vuyo Mokwena and Rejoice Mukumela, to mention but few, will participate during the festival.

The children’s festival where Percy “M” Mukwevho and Junior M, drum majorettes from Madombidzha and the Vhembe Cultural Ensemble will perform, will take place at the Makwarela Community Hall on March 25, starting at 09:30.

On March 26, the festival moves to the Mphephu Protea Resort, where Elfas and Simba will performing live on the stage. Zozo, Ray Chikapa Phiri and the “People’s Poet” Mzwakhe Mbuli are also on the programme.
