TSHAKHUMA – Forty eight students of the Ramaano Mbulaheni Multi Purpose Centre received their certificates during a graduation ceremony held at Ramaano Auditorium last Friday.
According to the Centre Manager, Mr Samson Tshivhase, students received training in needlework and catering, computer literacy and OBE through technology.
Ms Andrea Pretorius, a lecturer, said that fifteen students perfomed well in the needlework and catering course. They have a knowledge of sewing, flower and table arrangements, cooking, and baking. “This group has the power to start their own businesses at their homes and all of them have done their practical work at Tusk Venda Casino Hotel,” Pretorius ads.
In the field of computer literacy, Mrs Gladys Mugivhi said that 15 students have graduated, and most of them are going to get employed after completing the com-puter course.
Tshivhase appeals to teachers from General Education and Training (GET) and Further Education and Training (FET), together with their principals to attend the new curriculum course.
