Ideas on how churches can contribute to the implementation of efficient service delivery were at the top of the agenda when the mayor of Musina, Cllr Mihloti Ramoyada, recently met pastors from different denominations at Musina Municipality's council chambers.

Approximately 50 pastors from churches around Musina listened attentively when Ramoyada urged them to continue supporting the municipality to bring a better life to all citizens. The session, which started with a prayer, nearly turned into a marathon sermon as pastor after pastor quoted scripture readings which support that government leadership has been delegated by God to lead community members.

Ramoyada said local pastors had always been available in municipal events throughout. “We would like to acknowledge your support in all our initiatives. That is why we decided to have this special day to thank you. Through your prayers, the municipality has achieved a lot, and we have no doubt that you will continue to support us in our future endeavors.”

Pastor Jeremiah Negogogo of the Revelation Apostolic Church of Africa said during the event that as community servants they always made sure that they were available for the activities of the municipality. "It is our obligation to make sure that we help our municipality to serve people with distinction. The Pastors Forum here in Musina is serving as a good platform for us to discuss service delivery issues with the municipality.”
