MAKHADO – When he was asleep on the night of April 12, the PRO of the Makhado Municipality, Mr Peter Muleya, did not know that the following morning he would find his vehicle standing on bricks and rocks, as thugs had vanished with the mags of his vehicle.

Mr Muleya said that he would use all possible forces and means to ensure that the lawbreakers who stole the mags and wheels of his vehicle last Monday night, were punished. In a telephonic interview with Mirror, Muleya said God will determine how to punish the thugs.

On Tuesday morning, April 13, he had to organise transport to work. "It is still a great shock to me and my family." He said that nobody heard the lawbreakers stealing the mags, estimated to be worth R10 380. Muleya said that he had reported the matter at the local SAPS and the investigations, according to him, are at an advanced stage. "I do not want to reveal anything regarding the police investigations, because I might jeopardise their investigations," he said.

When Mirror visited Muleya at his house, the vehicle was still on the rocks. "I want you to expose this, so that it would be known that thieves are in full force in town," he said. Muleya said that nothing else has been stolen from the vehicle, except the mags and wheels.
