Phalaphala FM Station Manager Mr Victor Ravhuanzwo has been appointed an ambassador to the International Marketing Council (IMC).

Ravhuanzwo, popularly known as the President of the Limpopo Combo for his efforts in promoting unity in diversity amongst the three SABC Radio Stations in Limpopo, assumed his duties as ambassador with effect from October 1, 2005.

His key performance area will be to ensure that positive stories are told about the country and the province while representing the IMC whenever called upon.

“It is an honour for me and my colleagues to be called upon during this important period to contribute unselfishly in the building process facing our country. I have always preferred to serve than to be served and this opportunity presents itself at a point in time that the country is in dire need of people who are prepared to serve others, and this part of my contribution in that regard. I love this country just as I am proud of my listeners and my acceptance of this responsibility bears testimony to my commitment in serving the country,” he said.
