The Tshilwavhusiku police have opened a case of culpable homicide, following the death of three people in a vehicle accident on the Sinthumule-Kutama road on Monday afternoon.
The accident took place at Tshiozwi shortly before 15:00. According to a police statement, a Toyota Corolla overturned several times after the driver allegedly lost control. Apart from the driver, there were five passengers in the vehicle.
The injured sustained fractures and were taken to the Louis Trichardt Memorial Hospital for treatment. The names of the deceased and injured will be published as soon as the police make them available to the media.
Kaizer Nengovhela started writing stories for Limpopo Mirror in 2000. Prior to that he had a five year stint at Phala-Phala FM as sports presenter. In 2005 Kaizer received an award from the province's premier as Best Sports Presenter. The same year he was also nominated as Best Sports Reporter by the Makhado Municipality.
