While police investigations into the brutal killing of Mrs Phophi Tracey Radzilani (30) are reported to be at an advanced stage, the Makhado Municipality opened a trust fund at the local branch of Nedbank in Makhado.

The proceeds to be raised from the Radzilani Trust Fund will be utilised by the deceased’s son, Masindi Radzilani (12). The account number is 1346041040, while the branch code is 134649.

Last Friday, Masana Training and Social Development donated R500. “As Masana, we are deeply affected and touched by this heinous crime, especially when one realises that August is women's month. We are mourning with the Radzilani family. We are urging other businesspeople to donate whatever they can to the bereaved family,” said Mrs Lufuno Matodzi, marketing manager of Masana.

On the same day, Mr Ronnie Sutherland of Madiba Road Construction and Planthire donated R2 000 to the Radzilani family. “I am not contributing in order to get publicity and this money will never bring back Mrs Radzilani, but I am trying to show people that I am concerned and care about the Radzilani family,” he said.
