A 30-year-old school clerk appeared in the Makhado (Louis Trichardt) magistrate’s court on Tuesday, January 23, on charges of theft and fraud.

Freddy Lefuno Siaba from Makonde Village is accused of committing fraud and stealing school funds from the Murunwa Private School in Makhado (Louis Trichardt), where he was working as a clerk. The amount involved is said to be just over R72 000.

The case against Siaba was postponed until Friday, February 2, to allow Siaba to get legal aid.
