Limpopo Mirror is still the favourite choice of community newspapers for readers in Limpopo.
Thanks to you, our loyal readers, Mirror has once again topped the sales figures for community newspapers in Limpopo, as certified by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC). The ABC released the figures for the period October to December 2006 on Wednesday 14 February, and Mirror once again reflected excellent circulation figures of 8 966 copies sold on average per week, which is up by 19% as compared to the same period of the previous year.
The next highest circulation figure belongs to the Northern Review of Polokwane (7 798 copies), which showed a decline in sales of 1,4% from their previous year. The Capricorn Voice, which promotes itself as a provincial publication failed to make it beyond the 5 500 copies per week mark during 2006 and only sold on average (5 122) copies per week during the final quarter.
Other publications in the region are Letaba Herald (4 030 copies), Phalaborwa Herald (2 158 copies), and Mirror’s sister publication, Zoutpansberger (2 522 copies).
