An elderly woman who allegedly had sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old boy in her house at Madombidzha, Ha-Rathidili, a fortnight ago, has been formally charged with indecent assault in the Tshilwavhusiku Magistrate’s Court.

Naledzani Eunice Tshilimandila (40) of Ha-Rathidili appeared in court last Friday and was granted bail of R500.

According to police spokesperson Capt Mashudu Malelo, Tshilimandila allegedly called the under-aged boy to her house on February 16. On his arrival, she asked him to make tea for her.

"We heard that Tshilimandila asked the young boy to her bedroom where she started to show him some pornographic magazines," he said. Malelo further said that Tshilimandila forced the boy to have sexual intercourse with her throughout the night.

Malelo said that the following day the boy, who is a learner at Tshikhwani Primary School, revealed his ordeal to his parents. The Tshilwavhusiku police arrested Tshilimandila on March 1.
