A 28-year-old police reservist, who had been attached to the Waterval SAPS for the past two years, died tragically last Sunday.

According to Insp, KC Mabatha of the Waterval SAPS, the deceased, Jabulani Buyisonto, was traveling with two young girls when his Isuzu bakkie overturned, killing him instantly.

Mabatha said the bakkie overturned next to the Waterval Stadium and threw all the three passengers out. He said that one of the girls is still in a critical condition at the Polokwane hospital, while the other one was discharged shortly she was admitted to Elim hospital.

"All the members of the station are saddened by his untimely death," he said.
