THOHOYANDOU – For the second time this year, 4x4 fever is hitting the Land of Legend in a big way. The Tusk Venda Casino 4x4 Challenge and Treasure Hunt will take place on the weekend of November 26 to 28.
The 4x4 challenge and treasure hunt made its debut last year and is back by popular demand from previous entrants and sponsors alike.
On Friday, November 26, Beja Fishing Paradise will be hosting all the entrants for the race. Comfortable camping facilities will be made available, and what better way to start off the weekend than with a mouthwatering braai around the campfire, followed by an opskop to boogie the evening away?
Anybody can participate in the event with a 2x4 or 4x4. The race will start at 06:00 on Saturday morning and will take drivers on a journey through some of the most spectacular scenery the Limpopo Province has to offer. Drivers will have a chance to show off their 4x4 handling skills at the many obstacles and will also have to solve a few riddles along the way.
Points will be allocated at every sponsorship point along the route. The driver with the highest score and the best time at the end of the race will walk away with R5 000 in cash. There will also be loads of other fun prizes up for grabs.
For more information, phone May-Ann de Villiers at Tusk Venda Casino (015-962 4006).
