The body of a 23-year-old Zimbabwean, Agrippa Khumalo, who was hit by a speeding vehicle in Thohoyandou in November last year, is still in the Tshilidzini Hospital mortuary, police have said.
The SAPS spokesperson for Thohoyandou, Insp Muophe, appealed to relatives of the deceased to come forward and collect the body. "We are still making efforts to locate the relatives of Khumalo," he said. Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the deceased’s relatives should contact Insp Muophe at 015-960 1000.
It is said that Khumalo is from the Luphane area near Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. Muophe said if the failed to locate the man’s relatives, a pauper’s burial would be conducted.
