After giving birth to triplets babies, Rosina’s life has never been the same…

Ms Rosina Thengwana (30) of Tshikwarani Village in the Kutama area gave birth to her healthy triplets baby girls at the Polokwane provincial hospital on June 7, during the national strike last year. It has been nine months since Rosina gave birth to her baby girls Tshilidzi, Tshedza and Thabelo.

When Mirror visited Thengwana’s home last Thursday, the babies looked very bright, healthy and happy.

In an interview with Mirror, she said that although her babies were born during the national strike, when there was no proper care at the hospital, her babies were born healthy. Thengwana revealed that she was assisted by members of the South African National Defense Force (SANDF), whom she still thanked for having assisted her.

She also outlined that the only problem she is encountering now is that she does not have enough money to raise her lovely daughters. "I regard my babies as a gift from God," she says.

Thengwana further revealed that, as a result of not having somebody to look after and take care of her children, she happened to lose her job. "There was no one who could babysit the children for me, so I decided to quit my job," she indicated.

She is now pleading for help from anyone who can assist her in raising her babies. Though she receives a child support grant, Thengwana is unable to provide in all the needs for her children. "Although the child support grant is assisting me in raising my children, it is too little to suit their needs," pleads Thengwana.

Thengwana is staying alone in a one-roomed shack, which is not conducive for her little daughters. Apart from the triplets, Thengwana indicated that she also has a nine-year-old daughter.

Anyone who can assist with anything can contact Thangwana’s mother at: 082 975 1986 or Mr Peter Maliaga at: 078 277 5640.
