The well-known producer and presenter of Phalaphala FM’s Interfaith programme and deputy manager communication and liaison in the Department of Agriculture, Dr Ntavhanyeni Phaswana, has been appointed as new Circuit Manager for the Soutpansberg North Circuit of Education.
Phaswana worked at three universities (part-time), four secondary schools, two colleges of education and one primary school and said that he was looking forward to this new challenge. He will be in charge of more than 50 schools, 19 Curriculum Advisors and the circuit office support staff.
Geographically, his circuit is the biggest in the province, covering all the schools in and around Musina, Ha-Mudimeli, Musekwa to Khomele, Makushu, Smokey, Mamvuka and Matsa area, the 14 farm schools around the Waterpoort area as well as schools around
Born in October 1966 at Tshipise, where he received his primary education at Manyii primary school, he then attended
Phaswana previously wrote a Grade 10 religious studies learner’s book, based on the newly revised national curriculum statement (Nascu via Africa) 2005, and is presently writing a book titled “Kom ons verstaan mekaar.”
Kaizer Nengovhela started writing stories for Limpopo Mirror in 2000. Prior to that he had a five year stint at Phala-Phala FM as sports presenter. In 2005 Kaizer received an award from the province's premier as Best Sports Presenter. The same year he was also nominated as Best Sports Reporter by the Makhado Municipality. Kaizer was awarded the Mathatha Tsedu award in 2014.
