Emmanuel maintains 100% pass rate

The Emmanuel Christian School outside Louis Trichardt has managed to maintain the school’s 100% matric pass rate for 2008.

All Grade 12 students who wrote the new NCS examinations last year passed. The top student, Kowho Useh, achieved four distinctions, two B symbols and one C with a mark of 90% for mathematics. Kowho is going to study Computer Engineering at the University of Pretoria this year.

A total of eighteen distinctions and 29 B symbols were attained by the school’s 2008 group of matriculants. The school’s total enrolment for 2009 is 630, with 39 Grade 12 students.
