It is well-known that most, if not all, of the 284 municipalities in South-Africa are dysfunctional at present and that includes the so-called Makhado Municipality.

The reason for this is equally well-known, namely the repulsive and destructive policies of the ANC regime with particular reference to cronyism and nepotism.

The recently appointed mayor of Makhado is a typical example. The previous incumbent was “recalled” being a beneficiary of the Mbeki faction and replaced by a crony of the Zuma faction and therefore forced onto the Louis Trichardt community. She can therefore have no credibility and should be treated accordingly.
