A dynamic and energetic young businessman from the Soutpansberg’s Indian community died tragically in a car crash over the weekend.
Mr Nafis Bambawala (23) was travelling with his brother and his family to Pretoria when he apparently lost control over his vehicle just outside Mokopane. Mr Bambawala was killed instantly. His brother and family were hospitalized and are on the road to recovery.
Mr Bambawala was born in India on December 23, 1985, and completed his school career there. He moved to South Africa in 2001 and settled in Louis Trichardt on July 26 of that year. Friends and family will remember him as a top achiever that excelled in everything he set out to do. Mr Bambawala was also a very dynamic businessman and managed two businesses in Thohoyandou and Giyani.
“He achieved a lot of things and he was still very young.”
The family expressed their gratitude towards the Soutpansberg and surrounding communities for their sympathy, condolences and support.
Mr Bambawala leaves behind his brothers, mother and three nieces and nephews.
