The Levubu SAPS are looking for two young men who allegedly raped a 62-year-old woman on Sunday at a farm in the Levubu area. Police spokesperson Inspector Solly Mukhola said the woman was fetching firewood with her husband on the Levubu farm when the two men arrived. Mukhola said the young men asked for a cigarette, but the old man told them that he did not smoke. They again asked for R10 and the granny said she did not have money. Mukhola further said the two young men ordered the old man to hand over his panga that he was using to cut firewood. “The old man followed the instructions and the two young men started searching them. They ordered the old man to go way while they remained with the woman. They then pulled the woman into a thick bush, where they ordered her to undress and raped her repeatedly. After the ordeal, one of the suspects wanted to kill her, but the other one refused, saying she was already old,” the police spokesperson said.
