Well-known Louis Trichardt businessman Don Page passed away last Friday morning. He was 72.
As an experienced forester, Don came to Louis Trichardt in 1985. He bought a local chainsaw agency, which he developed into the well-established All Power & Lawn Equipment retail and service business, which he managed up to his sudden death last week.
Don became ill on his farm last week Tuesday and was rushed to the Zoutpansberg Private Hospital, from where he was transferred to the Unitas Hospital in Pretoria. He died early Friday morning.
His wife, Amanda, this week expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the support, messages and flowers from all the people in Louis Trichardt. She had a special word of thanks for the doctors and staff at the Zoutpansberg Private hospital. “We are really blessed to have them,” she said.
A memorial service will be conducted next Thursday morning (17th June) at 10:00 in the Soutpansberg DR church, by rev. Louis Schnetler.
Don is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons.
