Tshikondela in court for allegedly killing his wife

A 69-year-old pensioner, Wilson Tshikondela, and his co-accused, Eddy Rikhotso (25) and Vincent Ndlovela (32), briefly appeared in the Waterval Regional Court on Monday, 25 July , for allegedly killing Tshikoneldela´s wife, Ms Selinah Nakeng (56).

The three were arrested on July 14 for allegedly stabbing and killing Nakeng in her home at Mpheni-Vhutuwangadzebu on Sunday, July 10. All three suspects pleaded not guilty.

Ms Nakeng was stabbed several times in the head. Tshikondela testified that he was fast asleep when his wife, who was sleeping in the same room, was stabbed to death.

Thsikondela was staying in a three-roomed shack with his wife and four grandchildren.

The case was postponed to August 25, while the three remained in custody. Rikhotso is a resident of the nearby Waterval Township, while Ndlovela resides at Chavani Village.
