Just two weeks after seven people were killed in a bus accident at Tshithuthuni, another accident was reported at the same spot on Monday, 10 October.

A Dyna truck that was delivering school books at Tshiendeulu collided at the same T-junction at Tshithuthuni. The driver of the truck, Mr Eugene Khorommbi (31), died on the spot. A passenger, Mr Jonas Ramabulana, sustained serious injuries.

The spokesperson for the Siloam police, W/O Edward Tharaga, said that the incident occurred at about 10:15. "We have opened a case of culpable homicide, following the incident, but investigations continue," he added.

Tharaga urged motorists to reduce speed when approaching the spot.
