In another shocking display of brutal violence, police in Louis Trichardt are looking for a man who abducted and raped a 15-year-old girl over a period of four days.

According to a provincial police spokesperson Brig Motlafela Mojapelo, the man grabbed the girl while she was walking down Kleynhans Street on Sunday afternoon. The girl was then dragged to an unoccupied house in the street where she was held captive. “It is further alleged that the suspect drugged her and repeatedly raped her until she was found by a passer-by yesterday [Wednesday, 14 December],” said Mojapelo.

Mojapelo said that the girl was found with her hands still tied behind her back, a gag in her mouth and unable to walk properly. “She was also bleeding. At the time of her discovery, she was trying to escape from the house,” Mojapelo.

The girl was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

Police have requested the public to assist them with their investigation. Anyone with information is requested to contact Capt Danel Fourie from the Makhado SAPS’ FCS Unit at Tel 082 729 0378.
