The body of an unidentified man, discovered along Kort Street in Louis Trichardt, on Monday morning (14 August) has police stumped.

The man was discovered, lying face down, next to the fence of the Makhado Municipality’s testing grounds.

According to the spokesperson for the Makhado Police Station, Const Irene Radzilane, no outward signs of a struggle have been found on the body. The police found a small amount of cash on the man, but no identification or cell phones. An inquest case has been opened for further investigation.

“We appeal to members of the public to assist us in identifying the man,” asked Radzilane.

The man’s age is estimated between 28 and 35. He was wearing white, striped Adidas tekkies, blue denim trousers and a black track-suit jacket and shirt. He has a clean-shaven face and short hair.
