Madombidzha Arsenal promises that they will be crowned the champions of the Tornado Mulaudzi Soccer Challenge on Saturday, when they meet Tshiozwi Dynamos in the final match.
In the semi-final, Arsenal beat Maisa Rainbow 2-1. Dynamos were too good for Iyarunga FC when they beat them 2-0.
The final match will start at 15:30 at the Tshiozwi grounds.
The Masters teams from Madombidzha and Tshiozwi will meet at 14:00. The champions of the competition will go home with R5 000, a floating trophy and gold medals. The runners-up will pocket R3 000 and silver medals, while the team ending in the third position will receive R1 500 and bronze medals.
The fourth-placed team will be R1 000 richer, while the teams that end from fifth to eighth position will get R250 each.
According to the organiser, Mr Chidoka Nengovhela, security will be tight around the grounds. "Our security will join hands with the SAPS to control the crowd," said Nengovhela.
Kaizer Nengovhela started writing stories for Limpopo Mirror in 2000. Prior to that he had a five year stint at Phala-Phala FM as sports presenter. In 2005 Kaizer received an award from the province's premier as Best Sports Presenter. The same year he was also nominated as Best Sports Reporter by the Makhado Municipality. Kaizer was awarded the Mathatha Tsedu award in 2014.
