Mailaskop Pull Together continued to donate Safa Vhembe SAB league points when they lost 1-0 to Tshiozwi Dynamos at Tshiozwi on Sunday.

On Saturday, Pull Together lost 1-0 to Benny's Care.

On Sunday, the boys from Mailaskop were the superior side from the onset as far as possession of the ball was concerned. This resulted in their putting more pressure on the defence of Dynamos for the better part of the match.

Melvin Mabatha missed a golden opportunity in the eighth minute when he was inside the penalty area.

Realising that their midfield was weary, the technical department of the local lads introduced Vhutshilo Mafunisa for Alugumi Mamugudubi.

The second half was characterised by dangerous play from the Pull Together players. In an attempt to calm the situation, Referee Mashudu Sathuma flashed two yellow cards, one to Rudzani Thovha and one to Thabiso Chuma.

Gift Raphako dribbled past three defenders in a row before beating the keeper, Thendo Shivhishi. His shot hit the crossbar and bounced back into the field of play.

Liyela Mateke of Pull Together could not make the grade as the opponents used him as their freeway. The only goal of the day was scored by Matodzi Maruli, after he received a beautiful pass from Mpho Mavhandu.

After the goal, Pull Together regrouped and started to dictate terms. The Mailaskop boys were led by their midfield linkman, Marvellous Tshifularo. They raided the Dynamos’ danger area continuously, but Lady Luck was not on their side. Their undoing was trying to walk the ball into the net, while the Dynamos’ defence was rock solid.
