In their SAB League match at the Lufule grounds on Saturday, United Artists gave Maha Flying Gunners a day to remember, when they brutally walloped them 4-0.
Gunners' strikers showed no appetite for goals when approaching the Artists’ danger area. On the other hand, Artists looked dangerous in all departments. Artists scored their first goal in the 19th minute. Maanda “Bartlett” Mulaudzi headed home a square pass from Tshifhiwa Munyai.
United Artists continued to control proceedings, with Flying Gunners chasing the action. The home side was two goals ahead at the end of the first half. Their second goal was scored by Ndaedzo Mutavhatsindi, who beat the offside trap and ultimately showed the Gunners’ keeper, Mashudu Nndwa, the wrong way.
Tony Mudzungwane was on target in the 68th minute. Flying Gunners looked hopeless afterwards. They were severely punished for that as Artists scored the fourth through Maanda Mulaudzi.
