Zoutpansberg Powerline donated Safa Vhembe SAB league points to Vleifontein United when they lost 3-2 at the Madabani grounds on Sunday.

The visitors opened their account when Khathutshelo Muligwa received a pass from Godfrey Mbedzi and passed the ball to Justice Makgothu. His ground cutter hit the goal post and crossed the goal line in the 6th minute. Evans Makovhololo of the home team was on target five minutes later to equalise. Vusi Kaletesane of the hosts dished a beautiful pass to Evance Makovhololo, who gave the ball a final touch to make the halftime score 2-1.

United central defender Lawdwick Mudau went into the referee’s book for obstruction on Rudzani Nebulu. Powerline nearly hit the target in the 48th minute, but United’s keeper, Solomon Ramusheu, palmed Evans Makovhololo’s volley away for a corner kick.

United equalised when Walter Mokgashwa unleashed a powerful volley in the 56th minute. Two players of United, Godfrey Mbedzi and Ladwick Mudau, were red-carded for rough play and insulting the referee. After the incident, United play as a team and were rewarded with a goal in the 80th minute. Suprice Raulinga scored the winning goal in the 84th minute.

After the goal, Given Matumba of the home team was given a red card for swearing at his teammates.
