Disco Stars received R3 000 fine

Musina United were fined R3 000 for assaulting the referee and causing the abandonment of their match against Muswodi Happy Fighters. They appeared before a disciplinary committee (DC) of Safa Vhembe last Friday.

The fine must be paid within 30 days. United’s veteran, Joel Goba, was also suspended for six matches for assaulting a match official.

The current log leaders in Stream I, Mulodi Freedom Birds, received  a R5 000 fine for fielding an unregistered player. R3 000 of the amount was suspended for two years and Birds also forfeited the league points to their opponents.

Jerome River Bank received a R3 000 for failing to comply with the rules of the competition committee, while Nzhelele Young All Nation received a R3 000 fine for causing the abandonment of the match against Vhulaudzi United Brothers. They also forfeited the league points to United Brothers.

Shayandima Disco Five were fined R3 000 for causing the abandonment of the match against Iyarunga XI Smarties.
