Tshakhuma RO United completed their league programme on a sad note. They won their SAB League match against Maungani Mighty Masters 2-1 on Saturday, but lost against Gwamasenga United Brothers 0-1 on Sunday.

Lufuno Mugodi and Asivhanzhi Muthubi scored in their match against Mighty Masters on Saturday.

Their match against Gwamasenga was a see-saw battle, with both sides creating and squandering chances. Rendani Sitholimela of United Brothers misbehaved when he tackled Rabelani Mudau from behind. That was a good reason for the referee, Ms Lufuno Nemagovhani, to produce yellow.

The keeper of United Brothers, Oupa Rambuwani, was a marvel to watch throughout the game. He denied the opponents what everyone thought were sure goals.

Mulisa Luvhengo of RO United was booked for a late tackle on Ntambudzeni Mundalamo towards the end of the first half.

RO United made three changes to their starting lineup in the last half. They replaced Patrick Nembanzheni, Rabelani Mudau and Khuthadzo Makhado with Mulisa Nndwakhulu, Mufhati Simani and Avhakholwi Mugodi respectively.

Gwamasenga did not just stand aside and look on. They introduced Dakalo Mudau and Rofhiwa Ganyane for Tshilidzi Ramatsitsi and Rendani Sitholimela respectively.

Rofhiwa Ganyane scored the much-awaited goal for United Brothers six minutes before the final whistle. The keeper of RO United palmed the ball back into his own net in an attempt to clear.
