Will Hellenic pay for Dynamos' defeat?

Sport  Date: 29 November 2002

GIYANI – Hellenic will pay for Dynamos' 0-2 defeat by Orlando Pirates. The two teams meet in a Castle Premiership League fixture, which will be played at the Giyani Stadium on Sunday.

Dynamos' Public Relations Officer, Mr Pastor Mafumo, predicted a victory for his side in this match.

Dynamos lost to Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium last Saturday despite the fact that they were controlling the game from the onset up to the bitter. The bad news about Dynamos is that they will be fighting without their number one goalkeeper, Aime Kitenge.

The Burundian keeper is still serving a three-match suspension after receiving marching orders in their game against Supersport United at the same venue three weeks ago. The match is scheduled for 15:30.

In other PSL matches to be played on Sunday, Golden Arrows will take on Supersport United. The two will meet at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban. This match will be shown live on television.

Wits University will have a date with Orlando Pirates at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Mpumalanga. Bush Bucks and Manning Rangers will fight for points at the Siza Dukashe Stadium in East London.

The only match to be played tonight will be between Black Leopards and Ajax Cape Town, which will be played at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town starting at 20:00.

Four matches will be played at various venues next Wednesday, December 4. Lamontville Golden Arrows and Ajax Cape Town will battle it out at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban. Jomo Cosmos and Black Leopards will rub shoulders at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa. The match between African Wanderers and Dynamos will be played at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban while Supersport United and Manning Rangers will lock horns at the HM Pitje Stadium in Pretoria.
