GIYANI – All roads will lead to the Giyani Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The pride of the Lowveld, Dynamos Football Club will fight for a place in the semi final stage of the prestigious Coca-Cola KO competition with Jomo Cosmos.
Although the two teams are strong forces to reckon with, all eyes will be on Dynamos. The fact that they will be playing at home will give them an added advantage. The spirit is high in the Dynamos camp following their 1-1 draw against Santos at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town last weekend.
Dynamos beat Supersport United 1-0 on their way to the quarterfinal stage of the competition. The match is scheduled to start at 15:30. In the other Coca-cola Cup fixture Black Leopards will fight for a place in the semi finals against Ajax Cape Town. This match will be played at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow afternoon. It remains to be seen whether the Thohoyandou outfit will manage to rise to the occasion after losing 0-1 to Manning Rangers at the same venue last Saturday. The match will start at 15:30.
The other Coca-Cola match that will be played on Sunday will be between Kaizer Chiefs and Lamontville Golden Arrows. Arrows will host Kaizer Chiefs at the Absa Stadium in Durban. The match will start at 15:00.
