Dynamic Boys up against Santos

Sport  Date: 25 October 2002

GIYANI – Dynamos will play against Santos Football Club in their Castle Premiership League match at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town on Sunday. This will be the eighth league match for the Giyani outfit while Santos will be playing their fifth match.

Dynamos will forfeit their position on the log if they drop all the points in this match. They are currently lying on the third spot with 11 points. Santos is on the fifth spot with two points behind "the Dynamic Boys".

The positions of the two teams on the current league log shows that the game is likely to go either way. Dynamos last played a league match two weeks ago. They lost 1-2 to Supersport United at the Giyani Stadium.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 15:30. In the other Castle Premiership League matches that will be played on the same day, Moroka Swallows will host Bush Bucks at the Rand Stadium in Johannesburg.

Bush Bucks' morale is sky high following their 2-1 victory over Orlando Pirates last weekend. The match between African Wanderers and Kaizer Chiefs will be shown live on television. It will be played at the Kingspark Stadium in Durban.

Wanderers are still mourning their last weekend 0-3 defeat by Black Leopards in their Coca-cola Cup fixture played at the Thohoyandou Stadium.

Three matches will be played at various venues tomorrow. Orlando Pirates will test their strength against Sundowns Football Club. This match will be played at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in the North West Province. Black Leopards will entertain Manning Rangers at Thohoyandou Stadium starting at 15:30 while Supersport United will have a date against Jomo Cosmos at the HM Pitje Stadium in Pretoria.
