Tshiswenda Masters were too strong for Sedzanani FC and beat them 2-1 in their Nzhelele Masters League match at the Phadzima grounds on Sunday.

There was a spirit of commitment from both sides. The Tshiswenda boys controlled proceedings in the middle of the park, but fumbled at the goal finish. They took the lead in the 24th minute. Their strikers, Marubini Nematshema and Livhuwani Mavhunga, initiated some moves in the middle of the park that ended in a goal. Nematshema gave the final touch to the ball.

The score was 1-0 at half time.

Tshiswenda introduced a defender, Osmos Munaka, at the expense of Takalani Nelwamondo early in the second half. Sedzanani came close to scoring in the 60th minute, but Mulalo Tshamano shot wide with only keeper Tendani Masala to beat.

Marubini Nematshema complete his brace when he caught keeper Boyboy Kutama off-guard and blasted in a half-volley. Botha Nekokwane scored the only goal of his team after the Tshiswenda keeper missed the ball late in the match, to make the score 2-1.
