RO United out of Mayoral Cup

Western Stars unexpectedly boot Tshakhuma RO United out of the Mulondoli Lifestyle Vhembe Mayoral Cup Competition, following their 2-0 victory at the Tshifulanani Stadium on Saturday.
Ipfi Muthubi of United could not display his normal impressive skills, as Rudzani Lisoga marked him tightly. The referee, Mr Eric Munyai, issued his first yellow card to Oscar Ramantswana, for bringing down Ndwakhulu Mathisa in the 24th minute.
Robbie Mulaudzi beat the United keeper, Khuthadzo Mukomafhedzi, to bring the score to 1-0 in the 27th minute and Lufuno Ndou increased the score a minute later. United’s dribbling wizard, Asivhanzhi Muthubi, forced his way through, but shot wide from the far left corner.
Stars was later forced to replace the injured Oscar Ramantswana with Oscar Mafunisa.
