Tshiozwi Dynamos emerged as the winners of the Western Tournament when they beat Madombidzha Try Again 10-11 at Madombidzha on Sunday.

The two teams played to a 1-all draw during regulation time and then went to the penalty shoot-out.

Although two of their key players went into the referee's book in the opening minutes, Dynamos continued to fight as an organised team. The two players who were cautioned with cards for rough tackling were Vusi Mamburu and Pepero Rasimphi.

Try Again’s goal came in the 27th minute. Humbulani Mukwevho dribbled past two defenders in a row and sent the keeper, Marvel Mauda, the wrong way.

For the second half, the home side left Vusani Mamburu and Mashudu Nengovhela in the dressing room and brought on Nyathi Muvhango and Takalani Bakali.

Dynamos came back strongly in the second half and equalised in the 64th minute when Aluwani “Killer” Nedzamba blasted in a loose ball after a scramble within the box.

Try Again replaced Adivhawo Tshirema and Dakalo Ramuthivheli with Khathutshelo Malema and Sello Letlalo respectively late in the game.
