GIYANI – It was a feast of goals when PSL rookies, Dynamos, gave Ajax Cape Town a 5-0 drubbing in their PSL match played at a packed Giyani Stadium on Saturday. Dynamos could have scored more than a dozen goals, had they managed to convert all their chances.

Ri khomeni ri nga peli was awarded a corner kick in the eighth minute. Their captain, Lifa Qosha, was on target, after a heartbreaking scramble for the ball within the box. Although the home side were one goal up when the referee blew the half time whistle, it was evident that they were going to collect full points at the end of the game.

They were dictating terms in all departments. The midfielder cum-striker for Dynamos, Josam Ndou, was booked for time wasting in the 60th minute. Dynamos added more life to their midfield when they introduced Luke Jukulile and Joel Seroba for Josam Ndou and Jacky Ledwaba four minutes later.

The former Ria Stars playmaker, Frank Makua, received a loose ball from the left corner and beat the Ajax keeper with a ground cutter. The coach of Ajax, Gordon Igesund, who was instructed not to move out of his technical area on countless occasions by the fourth official, lost hope when Dynamos scored their third goal, through Sello Ledingwane.

As if he was not a coach, Igesund remained tight-lipped for the remaining part of the game. Luke Jukulile caught the Ajax keeper off guard and blasted in a ground cutter from the far let corner. The fifth goal was an honour for substitute Soul Mmethi. It was scored three minutes before time.

It was reported on Monday, that Ajax Cape Town responded to this 0-5 defeat by placing seven of its players on the transfer list and went on to sign two Ghanaian internationals. The Ghanaians are midfielder Robert Amaoko and Anthony Eaffoe, a defender.
