THOHOYANDOU – Black Leopards are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for their league match against Moroka Swallows. The match will be played at the Thohoyandou Stadium next Tuesday, September 24.
It will be more than just a league match for the two sides. Swallows will be fighting tooth and nail with the view to revenge the 1-2 defeat they suffered at the hands of Leopards in their Telkom Charity Cup match that was played at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg two months ago.
Swallows are under the guidance of the former Leopards coach, Gavin Hunt who has a point to prove in this match. On the other hand, the Swaziland international of Leopards, Sibusiso Dlamini will be available for selection on Tuesday. Dlamini watched his team's previous three games from the grand stand. He was given marching orders in their BP Top 8 match against Santos at Thohoyandou Stadium last month.
Although Dlamini will be available for selection, their demon-midfielder, Jaconiah Cibi is still serving his three- match suspension. He was red-carded in their match against African Wanderers that was played at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban a fortnight ago. The match will start at 15:00.
Two matches will be played at various venues on the same day. Jomo Cosmos will entertain Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium. This match will be screened live on television.
The other match will be between Wits University and Supersport United. It will be played at the Bidvest Stadium starting at 20:00. Dynamos will play against Kaizer Chiefs at the Ellispark Stadium the following day.
