Gogobole Bucs continued their losing streak in the Limpopo Dairy league, when they lost 2-1 to Tshikhodobo Barcelona at Gogobole on Sunday.

Bucs squandered numerous scoring opportunities in the opening minutes. Lutendo Nndwambi missed a fortune nine minutes into the game. He received a beautiful pass from Dominic Mafuleni and shot aimlessly from inside the box. He caused another upset a little later. He lost possession of the ball inside the box, with the Barcelona keeper, Samson Mudau, already beaten.

Barcelona scored their opening goal in the 27th minute when Phumudzo Madzhie headed home a square pass from Dimpho Singo. Takalani Mathada, the Barcelona midfielder, was cautioned for tackling Sydney Mashau roughly.

Solly Chauke then tried his luck from the 25m area and caught the Bucs keeper, Mulalo Maphaha, flat-footed to make the half-time score 2-0 in favour of Barcelona.

Barcelona later replaced Nthambeleni Madzhie and their injured captain, Oliver Baloyi, with Edwin Lephaswa and Tommy Thabulo respectively. Lutendo Nndwambi was brought down inside the penalty area and the referee, Mr David Nyalungu, pointed at the white spot. Dominic Mafuleni converted the penalty to make the final score 2-1 for Barcelona.
