Madodonga All Stars played to 1-all draw against Zamenkomste FC in their important Safa Vhembe match at the Madodonga grounds on Sunday.
Both sides displayed attacking football in the first half and thus made the match more entertaining. Stars had their first regret in the seventh minute. Cedrick Makhwathana fumbled at the goal finish after beating the offside trap.
Stars enjoyed more ball possession, but their promising moves were turned into disappointment by the rock solid defence of their opponents. They continued to mount pressure on the defence of the visitors. They were the first to draw blood when an opponent missed the ball and Thomas Makhwathana scored easily.
Their celebration was cut short when Londolani Mashavha blasted in a rocket to equalise.
