The much-awaited Safa Second Division or Vodacom Promotional League match between Basel FC and Baroka FC will be staged at the Makwarela Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
Both sides are still to lose a league match this season. Basel are still fresh from a 4-0 victory over Nobela All Stars in their Nedbank Cup KO match at the Makhado Eltivillas grounds last Saturday.
A win for Basel will enhance their chances of winning the league title, a goal which the club’s spokesperson, Mr Vhutshilo Makhado, says nothing will stop them from achieving. Basel will pin their hopes on the former Black Leopards striker, Walter Ramulondi, and their dribbling wizard, Velile Mdaka.
The match will start at 15:00.
In the other Safa Second Division matches that will also be played tomorrow afternoon, Nobela All Stars are ready to make Magezi FC pay for last weekend’s defeat. They will meet at the Lesley Manyathela Stadium in Musina. Like Baroka and Basel FC, Magezi too are still to lose a league match this season. Phungo All Stars are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for their match against Masesetjane All Stars. They will lock horns at the Makhado Eltivillas grounds.
Rospa United will fight for league points against Giyani Hotspurs at the Giyani Stadium.
The other fixtures are: Modimolle Aces vs Lephalale Young Killers, Blue Rocks vs The Dolphins and Mighty FC vs Ray Pillars.
