Baroka to face the tricky United Stars

Sport  Date: 22 November 2012

Rospa United are geared to give Baroka FC a run for their money when they host them in a Safa second division league match at the Malamulele Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.

Although it will be a home match for Rospa, the team will have to put extra effort into the game if they want to deposit points into their league account. Baroka are currently leading the pack, and anything less than a victory will make them relinquish their leadership to either Basel FC or Magezi FC.

The defence of Baroka must keep a watchful eye on United's top striker, Mashudu Tlolo Mashapha. Mashapha, who is the team’s captain, scored a goal against Baobab Zero Fake last Saturday.

Basel FC will host the other title chasers, Magezi FC, at the Makwarela Stadium. The other Vhembe District-based side, Nobela All Stars, will play against Masesetjane All Stars at the Lesley Manyathela Stadium in Musina.

The other fixtures are: Phungo All Stars vs Winners Park, Giyani Hotspurs vs Lephalale Young Killers, Baobab Zero Fake vs The Dolphins, Mighty FC vs Blue Rocks and Modimolle Aces vs Ray Pillars.
