Can Leopards beat the PSL rookies?

Sport  Date: 23 November 2012

Black Leopards will be away to collect three important league points against the University of Pretoria when they rub shoulders in a Premiership League match at the Absa Tuks Stadium in Pretoria tomorrow afternoon.

The Amatuks are the rookies in the country’s elite league. Although they are newcomers, Amatuks had already proven beyond any doubt that they are there to stay. They are currently contestants for the league title after upsetting a number of the so-called big guns. The Leopards’ defence will not find it easy to stop the Tuks’ top striker, Mame Niang.

On the other hand, the combination of Rodney Ramagalela and Joshua Obaje at the Leopards' forefront will keep the Tuks defenders running for cover.

The game will kick off at 15:30.

In the other Absa Premiership League matches that will also be played tomorrow, Platinum Stars will host Kaizer Chiefs at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg, while Free State Stars will undertake a journey to Durban. They will battle against Amazulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits will meet at the Orlando Stadium. Moroka Swallows and Maritzburg United will clash at the Volkswagen Dobsonville Stadium.

Two matches will be played on Sunday. Supersport United will host Golden Arrows at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria, while Bloemfontein Celtic will play against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Free State Stadium.
