The local derby in the Limpopo Dairy League match between Ramantsha FC and Ramantsha Lotavha FC ended in a 3-all draw. The match was played at the Ramantsha grounds on Sunday.
Ramantsha would have scored at least three goals, had it not been for Ricardo Mafhumulele's acrobatic goalkeeping. The new signee of Lotavha, Vusani Mamburu, was a difficult man to mark. He eluded the Ramantsha defence as he kept running from the start of the match.
Ramantsha's keeper, Mangi Mufamadi, played superbly. He denied the opposition several sure chances. Shortly before the break, Merwe Masipa of Ramantsha was red-cared for a second bookable offence.
The half-time score was nil-nil.
Shumani Ramantswana broke the ice in the 56th minute. Against the run of play, he caught Mafhulele off-guard. The goal acted as a catalyst for Lotavha. It was therefore not surprising that Zwanga Nestianda equalised from Sinky Machaba's pass seven minutes later. Ramantsha tried to use offside traps and nearly paid dearly, as Ramson Magobo and Musundwa Maiwashe took advantage of the situation. The home team scored their second gaol via Mashudu Dikgari in the 60th minute.
Mahlatse Sengakana increased the tally moments later, with a blistering shot that beat the Lotavha keeper. Lotavha reduced the margin in the 78th minute via Nwaku Magobo, but Wilson Muedi's goal equalised for Lotavha in the 84th minute.
